# Wallet Security

## Secured by Turnkey

Boba accounts are secured via Turnkey, an industry leading wallet security protocol that protects user funds while within platform accounts like Boba. For more detailed info on how it works visit <https://www.turnkey.com/>.

### Simple Explanation

Turnkey uses your wallet as the key to create several new wallets within Boba that we can execute your trades from.

* You sign in with your wallet every time
* Boba populates all account wallets from Turnkey
* You trade and manage accounts on Boba seamlessly

{% hint style="info" %}
All Boba account wallets can be exported form the "Manage Funds" module.
{% endhint %}

### Other Auth Methods

After creating an account, Boba users can link their Twitter/X profile, Google account or create a Passkey to access their accounts moving forward rather than verifying with their wallet each time.

## Platform Audits

Boba has been thoroughly audited by Borg Security (<https://www.borgsecurity.io/>).

## Safety Best Practices

**Protect yourself:**

* Never share your seed phrase or private key with anyone
* Boba team members will never DM you first or ask for your keys
* Always verify you're on the official Boba website (boba.xyz)

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.boba.xyz/security-and-privacy/wallet-security.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
